South Carolina Lake House
Single-storey house on gentle sloping lakefront lot at Modoc, US.
The client wanted a two-storey modern house that should incorporate the slope into the main concept. We made a bold design decision and proposed a single-wide floor plan that looks single-leveled but also has sub-levels.
It should be of the hill. Belonging to it. Hill and house should live together each the happier for the other.
